A friend brought her I-Pad over this weekend and I must say it looks like a great travel gadget.
Hi Sarah, I just got back from a trip where one of my colleagues had the i-Pad. It looked and felt great. And it would save a ton of space in my back because it'll have my mags and books on it.

Love the idea of an e-book! I'm attending an ipad workshop this weekend to learn how to make ipad apps.
I'm really curious and interested in e-books too; they really make sense to me on an intuitive level, especially for travel. I'm one of those folks who's always torn pages out of my guidebooks so I wouldn't have to lug the whole thing... this is like the techy version of that!!!

Hi Melanie, I'm also always xeroxing pages from guide books. So an e-book with travel tips couldn't be better for the savvy traveler who prefers not to check luggage, like me.
