The islands of Turks & Caicos are renowned for snorkeling, scuba diving and, of course, expansive white sand beaches. Yet, I spent several days -- based at the Grace Bay Club on Provo -- exploring plantation ruins, nature reserves, salt ponds and small restaurants, including one with an offshore conch crawl. Curiously, most visitors never take the ferry to pristine Middle and North Caicos, just 30 minutes away. This short YouTube video slideshow provides a window into my travels.
I've heard so many wonderful things about Turks & Caicos - and would love to make it there sooner than later!
ReplyDeleteI went to Turks & Caicos many years ago and fell in love with it. The color of the water alone is unreal. So beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. I've not been to Turks & Caicos, but my parents went years ago and loved it.
ReplyDeleteHi Sheryl, I'd like to return since, like so many of my Caribbean trips, this one was way too short.
ReplyDeleteHi Merr, I know. Everywhere I drove, I found astoundingly different colors.
ReplyDeleteHi Jane, And, what's cool about it is that, beyond Provo, there are all these other islands that few people visit.
